The difficulty level in Mains Exams is generally tougher than Prelims therefore one needs to prepare it effectively and diligently.

Exam Pattern for IBPS Clerk Mains 2017-18
Last year the difficulty level of IBPS CLERK mains was increased and this year too we are expecting the same. The IBPS Clerk Mains paper comprises of 190 questions of 200 marks to be attempted in160 minutes.

Strategy to master Quantitative Aptitude Section of IBPS CLERK MAINS EXAM 2017-18
Out of all the sections Quantitative Aptitude Section gives a nightmare as it involves many complex topics and calculations. Let us discuss the strategy to be followed to master QA Section of IBPS CLERK Mains Exam 2017-18.
Topics to be covered for IBPS CLERK MAINS EXAM are:

- Percentage, Profit and Loss, Partnership

Strategy
- Out of these topics the most important topics are Quadratic Equations, Simplification and Approximation, therefore, these topics should be covered first with lot of practice. One can join IBPS CLERK ONLINE TEST SERIES, where you can get ample of practice sets on topics to be mastered as well as mock tests.
- After mastering these topics then practice Number series as most of the questions are based on it.
- Data Interpretation (DI) is another topic which covers most of the questions in the IBPS CLERK Exam, this topic needs to be practiced at length.
- Then switch over to the remaining topics such as CI & SI, Time and Work, Pipes and Cisterns, Partnership, etc.
Make a small yet smart strategy to cover all the topics in not more than 20 days as the time given between the result of prelims and mains is not more than one month.
